Some thoughts about....being an artist/famous/celebrity

Have you ever wished to be an artist (musician/rock-popstar, dancer, writer, painter, singer, actor...?)

I admit, I always wanted to be a pop/rock-singer like christina aguilera or
p!ink
;-). I even sang in a choir for a while (and my friends were really surprised at my voice), learned how to play the keyboard. But I wouldn´t say, that I got enough talent to start a big careere.

Writing is my secound "love", if you want to find out wether I´m good or not just read something written by me.

And last but not least I paint. I tried drawing too, but the portraits didn´t turn out that well. But I like my abstact paintings.

Photography is interessting , too, especially graphic art like wallpapers, banners and icons, because it´s a kind of art as well which is to arrange and alter existing material and put it into a new context (using pics and songlyrics/quotations to express a new idea).

Acting is something I tried as well when I was at school, but ..ehm..didn´t like it much, I kept asking myself, what´s the fun in learning lines and say them, you´re not free to do what you like, it´s so restricting. But I would like to be able to "act" the things I wrote. When I watch my favourit shows, I wish I could act like those actors.

Writing might be like acting, but without actually doing the things you write about. You just imagine being someone and doing something and the more vivid your imagination is, the better you can write it down. I think, you got to be a good psychologist to understand a person and her/his motives. And you got to understand/antizipate your reader´s wishes otherwise nobody will read it, no matter wether it´s actually good or bad. Rather complicated.
Maybe I should write a story about actors/musicians and painters.

I never wondered about fame and what it would feel like to be "loved by the masses" ;-)Many people seem to be very keen on that aspect rather than on doing the art itself. It might be cool , if anybody wanted to know even the most unimportend stuff about me ;-), might make you feel importent and popular or even powerful, cause you can influence them and they want to be like you, wear the same clothes etc. Strange idea...

What do you think about all that, since we all post a lot about our favourit celebritys ?
