This is a long, dull week and the temperature is steadily rising. I can't bring myself to do much work because it is painfully boring to google how something is done in VB 6 and then google how its done in .NET and then change code from VB 6 to .NET. I've been flipping back between my e-mail and hotels in Milan for the past few days. Somehow I am still behind writing e-mails and I haven't yet booked a hotel in Milan. I went to a terrible Spanish restaurant for dinner last night that had schnitzel in the "Pollo" section. I rarely crave Mexican food (except for ceviche) but I would kill for a tostada and some rice and beans. I miss vegetables. I am also missing the Nordstrom's anniversary sale, which is among my favorite holidays. Sleep deprivation, terrible diet, lack of exercise more rigorous than walking are all starting to take a toll on my body. If I can make it through the week though, I am going to Graz on Saturday which should be awesome. Joy's sister is going to be visiting from London, so I'll be among two Americans and of course the cool people I met in Vienna. Joy e-mailed me, full of excitement and plans so I know I'll have a good time and we'll eat very well (I love being around other foodies...). 2 weeks and 3 days left here in Bratislava, I can't wait to get out of this place. I read before I came that Eastern Europe is a hotbed of opportunity since their markets haven't yet been saturated. Very funny.
