Summer is officially here if we go by the school calendar. Yesterday was the last day for Matthew and Natalie is now an official Middle School (8th grade) graduate. It's strange to contemplate that in the fall I'll have two high schoolers and two college students. I'd always heard people say that you really never feel that much older on the inside

Anyway, not sure what exactly you're looking for, but here are a few things I've got bookmarked that I particularly enjoyed. They're all massively long, but I suspect that won't surprise you, given that you've known me for years and seen the unwieldy products of my own imagination. But the writing, world building, and characterization are all good, so I hope they appeal.
Harry Potter fandom:
Reparations by saras_girl. Harry/Draco (eventually). Set post-books, but discounts the HP7 epilogue. At loose ends after the war, Harry ends up training to become a healer. The story begins with him doing post-grad qualified healer training at St. Mungo's, where he encounters Draco Malfoy for the first time since the end of the war. There's a sequel, Foundations, also posted at her journal, plus some other misc. stories in the series.
Star Trek (reboot) fandom:
Switch by Ceres_Libera. Kirk/McCoy (eventually). Follows the development of Kirk's and McCoy's friendship through all three years at the Academy, the events of the 2009 film, and the aftermath, all from McCoy's POV. McCoy's backstory here is so well done, and there are several fabulous original characters. The author has a couple of follow up stories plus a work in progress, all available at Archive of Our Own.
Leave No Soul Behind by whochick. Kirk/Spock (eventually). AU that assumes if the events at the start of the 2009 film led to an alternate time line, there might have been multiple fractures leading to additional realities. In this world, Nero continues to destroy Federation planets. Spock has chosen not to join Star Fleet, but instead is part of EPAS, the equivalent of an emergency medical corp that operates in space, traveling where needed and offering medical aid and evacuation to both Fleet and civilians alike. Really creative world and political structure, plus some terrific original characters.
I can dig up more if you're interested. These are just off the top of my head. But as I said, they're all long -- longer-than-novel length -- so they should keep you busy for a while, even with your speedy reading tendencies. ;-) Enjoy!
