I'm happy to say that things have improved since my last post. No new kitten to replace Nicholas yet, but we'll see what happens on that front in the coming months.

Thanks for the info, Kath. I didn't know about the WWII connection, but all that open land would be an ideal place to train pilots, wouldn't it? It's always fun to learn new things. :)
