in need of update
so yea its been a while since i have updated. this is what has been going on.
thursday i found out i got the job at max & ermas and went back that that night to meet the tavern peeps before they went to harry potter. that was fun its been a while since i had seen some of them.
friday i accidentaly overslept my math class ....... oops!!! other than that i didnt do much other than work on my boblo documentary and write a speech.
saturday i layed around most of the morning then watched the michigan vs ohio state game. wow was that ever depressing!! i really REALLY wanted them to win like every other michigan resident. then after the game i went out to robyns so we could go to target to get some stuff to do our hair for canada. we kinda layed around and watched the extras on madagascar then we finished dinner and somewhat got ready. we left for canada about 8 or something like that which was sooooooo early. i kinda didnt wanna leave that early but whatever. the night was good overall i had a blast at patty o's just drinkin with everyone. and wow is that beer FANTASTIC!! we ended up leaving canada a little after 1 because i wanted to come home that night because i had to be to work at 9 am the next day. i think i ended up getting home around 230 which wasnt too bad and i really was only buzzed when i was driving home but its a straight shot on southfield and 94.
so on sunday i got to work a few minutes before 9 and i sat down and talked to the manager for a while. then they decided that it was a good time for me and the other trainee to have to smell every single bottle of alcohol they owned. now usually the day after i drink i dont wanna even smell alcohol anymore. so needless to say after smelling 45 bottles of assorted alcohols (vodka, bourbon, tequila, etc) i was quite nauseous and really wanted to go home. but after that it was time to try the food. that made everything 20 times worse. i sucked it up though and "expoed" from about 11 til about 2. thats not really hard its just putting stuff on the plates and making sure it has the right sides on it. so that wasnt too bad ...... shitty job but not bad. after i got home i took a nap for about 2 hours cuz i had to do some homework and my uncle was coming over and i havent seen him in about 5 or 6 months. so that was cool.
today was a full day of school but it wasnt too bad. i was kinda confused in math on part of it cuz i slept through the class on friday but i caught up quickly. i got my french test back and unfortunately i got an 89.5 which disappointed me. i really should not be getting lower than 90s in that class but i chose to study for my math test instead of this french test.
tomorrow i do not work until 5 and i have to expo again. thats okay though cuz i get to wear jeans and a shirt along with a baseball cap and its helping me learn the menu. this job is hardcore compared to the henry ford though. this week looks awesome though and completely stress free.
wow i was watching the hockey game and something horrible happened!! they are saying that jiri fischer got hit in the throat with the puck. it was so unbelievable. everyone was still and standing while the were giving him cpr and working on him. im still in shock. they even brought his fiancee on the ice to take her over to the bench so she could be with him. wow you never really realize how dangerous some of these games are. craziness and he will definately be in my prayers.
oh well i am gonna go watch and see what happens with the hockey game.
