earthbound and life
work is so great. i love it. they've been training me to close and friday will be my first night closing without a manager there. my bosses seem like wonderful people; like people i'd hang out. i had a long talk with my assistant manager tuesday night. she told me that i'm doing great there and everyone loves me, which is so fantastic to hear because of my struggle to find a damn job. lori (my a.m.) also told me that i had the position five minutes into the interview because all i did was joke around and talk about horror movies. yessssssssss. other than work, classes are going well and living with brandon is good. Although life is wonderful, i do miss alot of my friends. i talk to rick almost every day but haven't hung out in awhile, for sooz and i it seems to be mostly email :(, grace is in europe having fun, amber and i talk on the phone when we can but barely hang out and christina...well, it's been awhile. we need to catch up. everyone (including myself) is just so busy anymore that i'm afraid of losing contact.
ummmm that cat that my aunt and uncle took should be having her litter soon, so in a couple months i'll be writing about my new little kitten. feel free to suggest names:)

and for those who haven't heard the story...one of my first days at earthbound i was facing shit and cleaning shelves towards the back of the store when i see this bitch smacking her wrist over and over again with one of our incense burners (the ones that are just a long flat piece of wood, you know). it was painted pink and had stones on it; it was hideous. anyways...i'm in the next aisle thinking "what the hell is this bitch doing" when it dawns on me. i actually have to walk over to her and explain "mammm, that's an INCENSE BURNER, not a SLAP BRACELET."
