It's been a really lousy day. Or, rather, several lousy days. And those days were fraught with anxiety and fear for Angela. If there's one thing that can be said about Stephanie, it's that she can really bring on the drama.
It had started with incessant calling on Angela's cell phone two days before. When Angela had turned off the phone, she'd left thirty voice mail and text messages. Asking for money. Asking her not to tell the judge about her drunkenness. Berating her for 'lying' about her and threatening her parents.
Angela ended up canceling her cell phone. And then the house calls started, and the calls to her father at work.
Angela stopped sleeping the night before from nerves. She stopped eating and she couldn't stop shaking and her mother made her stay home from school.
At court, her mother looked...oh, god, she looked awful. There were sores on her face and she'd lost more weight if it were possible. And she said things that made no sense and ended up cited for contempt of court.
Angela was granted a restraining order against her mother. It was also ordered that Stephanie be put into rehab again.
Angela cried all the next day, when she found out Stephanie was using crystal meth.
