Writer's Block: Nicknames
My nickname is Angel
It's where my livejournal, photobucket, myspace etc names come from
Originally it started as a sort of obsession with mine
Angels fascinate me
In the end I started helping people
So many people in so many ways
I'd get the thanks but I didn't want it
They told me I was an angel
One day some turned around and said 'You're like my guardian angel'
I said that yeah, I was something like that
The name stuck and soon I was introduced as Angel
Some people kept it, some became close enough to know my real name
Others know both and use both regularly
To be honest, it started as a joke
Then it became a term of endearment
Then it became something real
I don't want to let go of it
People won't let me let go of it
It's here to stay, just like me
