Yeah Angelo ate something that didn't agree with him, so I'm sitting outside for the moment, petting him until he stops throwing up looking sad. I swear, if he were human, he'd be crying tears of oh god, why me!?

Cid was done with another day of school business. He needed to stretch his legs and clear his head. Celes has left his mind distracted but in many good levels. It was still sorta scary but fun scary! Like a roller coaster ride that he didn’t wanna get off of.

As he strolls the campus he spots Rinoa and a sick dog? Damn, what the hell did that dog eat?! Cid strolls over and takes a seat by her looking at Angelo.

Cid, “ That is one sick puppy, you got there. “

Rinoa nearly jumped sky high and had her pinwheel loaded and aimed by the time she figured out who had plopped down next to her.

"Oh... hi..." She peered bleary-eyed at Cid. "Sorry for the welcome, but you can't be too careful around here..."

Glancing down at Angelo, she sighed. "Yeah I know. I'm really worried. I don't know what he got into." Makeup or some bathroom cleaner was high on her suspect list. "If this doesn't clear up by morning, I'm taking him to the vet."

She wouldn't face the possibility that he wouldn't get better. This was her Angelo... he HAD to get better!

Cid listens as he watches the dog, “ Not exactly a spring puppy though. Maybe he just has a stomach flue or something. “ Tries to suggest to be helpful.

Cid has never really had pets as he was never allowed one. He knew jack shit about dogs aside they bark and chase things! Even then that's kinda what he seen. Oh and Dogs hump legs!

Cid, “ Someday you are gonna have to let go. Dogs don’t life forever. “ Nothing does but he keeps that bit of unwanted wisdom shut up.

Rinoa gazed at Angelo and nodded. "I hope that's all it is. I'm taking him in tomorrow morning anyway, though."

She couldn't imagine life without angelo. He had been her best friend, her companion, someone she could go to when no one else was there. What would she do without him? He was getting up in years, but that didn't always mean anything.

Wiping at the tears streaming down her cheeks, Rinoa knelt down next to her dog and stroked his side. He seemed to have quieted down for the moment. "I'll just have to make the time we have left extra special."

Cid sits there feeling a little awkward. What does one say about losing a pet or the prospect of? Cid just lacks any experience of being that close to an animal.

Cid pats her shoulder gently, “ If you were like this with him all his life, you already made a lifetime of something special, kid. “

Rinoa sighed and wiped her eyes on her arm warmer. "Yeah, I guess so." She looked up at Cid and smiled. "Thanks."

Looking back down at Angelo, she gave a worried sigh. "He has an appointment with the vet tomorrow," she muttered.

Glancing back up at Cid, she smiled again. "And when he's all better, I'll show you how I launch him. I never did get to show you that."

Cid nods as he pulls out a chewing stick and chew on it as a sub for a cigarette. Well at least he can do one thing for her!

Cid, " Tell me the time and I'll pick you two up. The train doesn't always let dogs on board and I doubt the bus driver will. " Not like Cid worried about a dog in his car. What's the worst that can happen?

Rinoa looked up at him, startled. It took a minute for her sleepy brain to register what he'd said. "Oh! Well I... I mean..." Only when she was really tired did Rinoa get flustered...

She took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, my mind's a muddle right now. I was just going to walk with him, since I want to take him before classes and before whatever it is has even longer to make him miserable." She paused. "But... if you really don't mind... I don't want to impose on you or anything."

She blinked again, suddenly recalling something. "You know... I heard the funniest rumor today..."

Cid snorts, " Its no problem really! " Gives Angel a strach behind the ears. Almost wishes he had a dog right now. Not that he thinks he would be a good owner. Maybe he can rent a pet?

Cid, " A rumor, eh? Tell it! " DFound the rumor mill to be amusing source if nothing else and sometimes has accurate information.

Rinoa's smile was thankful. "Thank you so much."

She went back to stroking Angelo's side as the dog slept. I'm gonna be worthless tomorrow... It's a good thing Professor Cid is willing to drive us...

Rinoa looked back up at Cid, glancing at her laptop to make sure it was still safe. "I heard, through the grapevine of course, that you're seeing my dorm proctor. Someone else said..." She paused and pursed her lips, not sure of how much she should say. "Someone else heard she was married with kids, but somehow... I don't believe that one."

Cid laughs, " Oh damn... that Rumor Mill is quick sometimes. Hell, when I got shot they were saying I got shot 10 times before I fell and then was one my TA killed officers before he was tackled! "

Cid watches Angelo sleep, " Well, I won't go into mt relation with Miss Celes but I will say the only person with a kid is me. Damn brilliant kid too. In couple years he'll be coming here. Hey, you need to get some sleep. The dog looks done being sick. I can carry him back to your room and we can lay papers down incase he gets sick. Then you go to sleep. " Hate to see her a zombie at the vet. " Nothing else you can do right now. "

Rinoa laughed at the odd rumors. "Yeah, gossip tends to do that. I won't talk about anything, I was just curious. I'm a sucker for hearing gossip, but I never repeat it." She gave Cid a smile. "Take care of her. I know you two will be fine."

She looked back at Angelo. "I really hate to have you do all this..." Her eyes moved away and she closed her eyes. There really wasn't anything else she could do, was there? She'd done everything she could, trying to make her dog feel better without waking her roommate. "Well... I'll have to be quiet when I bring him back in. I don't want to wake my roommate..."

Cid nods and wraps the Dog in his jacket, probaly gonna annoy his drycleaner with dog hairs where no hair should be or make the man think Cid s a werewolf.. Before picking the dog up careful to try and not wake him.

Cid, " I'll try to tip toe. " Not exaclty a great tiptoeing person, but he is able to hold the dog without any problems. " I hope Celes don't get any wrong ideas if we wake her. "

Rinoa led him to her room, taking paper towels and leftover newspaper to make a place at the foot of her bed where Angelo could lay without disturbing Maria. She watched her dear partner worriedly.

"Thank you so much, Professor. I can walk out with you if you'd like and if my proctor comes out, I'll set her straight." She smiled warmly up at Cid. "I really owe you for this."

Cid looks relieved when she says that. Gets his coat back and is ready to walk back out o the girl's dorms. It was a lil tricky and risky to walk into a student;s dorm like that.

Being a light sleeper, Celes woke up to voices outside the building. Her sleepy mind couldn't pinpoint who was out there, but she definitely heard a male and female. They didn't seem to be arguing, but she figured she'd check just to be sure.

She was halfway there when she spotted the two of them. The dimly lit hallway granted them cover from her piercing gaze... until she recognized the way the man walked. She stopped dead, a wave of fear and shock blasting over her. Cid... and one of her students... What had they been doing....?

Not wanting to find out, she wheeled around and began to run back to her room, her robe fluttering behind her.
