It's been a long time! I just came back after my week vacation in Buenos Aires. What a city! I had so much fun, walked so much that my feet still hurt and spent all my money in books, food and clothes. (I'm not much of a "shopper", but this time I summoned that spender side that comes from my mum's side and pampered myself a bit).
Buenos Aires is an interesting city. In some ways it's like Santiago, but in others, it's a completely different place. Comparing, I think I prefer living in Chile (although I could live with Argentina's book prices. In Chile they're too expensive). Although the meat in Argentina is superb, and the Food Gardens are by far, the best thing I've ever seen, I missed fruit! In Chile we have all kinds of fruit, the variety is amazing. There, they only had oranges and apples. How they can live without Mangoes, raspberries and watermelon beats me.
Anyway, I'm really glad I had the chance to make that trip. I went with one of my best friends, Anita, and she's a great travel partner. I hope she had as much fun as I did, so we can repeat it some other time.
So, now I'm back, and my summer vacation is almost over, and I'll soon have to go back to University. That means, oddly, that I will be able to be around more often, at least on week days, which is good, because I'm starting to miss chatting with my PK friends. I hope I can catch you online soon!
