Actually, that was a clone of him Jeremie programmed with a super computer to cover for the fact that XANA had him jump into the internet and repeatedly try to kill us and blow up wherever we were.

And since there's no way I'm going to lie about it, said supercomputer could also turn back time and only send me and the others back, which is why there weren't any exploded building or redirected meteors or people dead from wolves and a bunch of other things.

... grr. I think I'm going to try to stay away from this thing now.
