I is re-dreaded!

I got my hair redone! It's all tight and neat and de-fuzzed. It looks much better, I've still got the loose, curly ends and a couple of whispy bits at the front though. It looks really long now, can't believe it's almost down to the small of my back, I never had "real" hair this long! I went to this girl I found on the internet. She lives in Bristol so that was an adventure. I got the train and then called her and she gave me (pretty useless tbh) bus instructions. I managed to find her though. She shares a house with a load of friends, she had a really messy room full of indian wall hangings and insence and books about healing and crystals and conspiracy theories- basically everything my inner-hippy longs for but the rest of me wouldn't be able to live with for longer than a day. We drank camomile tea and shared stories about aging, middle class, hippy parents. Then she spent three and a half hours pulling my hair and I paid her £50. Bargin. But considering I haven't had a haircut for two and a half years, that's not too bad. And I got a rainbow striped wool dread as well, just to placate my inner-hippy.

When I got back to Cardiff I was going to meet Rach, but she manged to leave her phone in Boots. The lovely people that work there found it, and as I'd tried to phone her, phoned me back so I could pick it up! I then managed to guess correctly that she'd be in New Look and we managed to find each other. No way would that have happened if we'd be in a rush to get somewhere important!

Dani's going home tomorrow and Claire's going to a festival so I popped over earlier to say goodbye. You can't half tell that Aim lives in that house! She apparently spent about £150 in The Range and Ikea. From what I could see, that buys an awful lot of candles, potted plants, fairy lights and beaded curtains!! We had a good bitch about how socially rubbish the year below us are and how we're going to get through our third year by doing a lot more drinking. Whether it'll actually happen or not I don't know, but it did make me feel a bit better about having to stick out another year. So did working Monday and Tuesday with the external opera company. Combination of no fucking supervisors and getting paid made it a lot more bearable, and seeing as both of those will be true of working in the real world, I think that bodes well! I really do hope that this place doesn't end up killing my passion for theatre. I loved it so much when I started and was so excited about everything and now... this last term has just made me long for it all to be over and wish for a normal office job, 9-5, no responsibility, three weeks off a year. Humph. Only two more terms.

The end credit music for The Da Vinci Code is pretty epic you guys. Just sayin.
