Posting simply because I haven't done it in week or so...
I just made 4 plaster gauze casts of corn for my Glass-blowing class. How often does a person get to say that? That is why being a student at an art college is awesome...
I'm tempted to use the extra gauze either to make a cast of my face (for the lulz) or to remake a black jaguar mask I made a few years ago for a halloween costume party (the original got thrown away during the move). I'll probably have to save it for making extra corn casts though... by the time I'm through with those ears of corn, they'll be unappetizing to eat...
On an unrelated note, my Illustration 1 teacher praised my latest assignment. Since I didn't do so well on the last one, this made me very happy.
