[Real Life] Training Day 3

Aug 24, 2011 01:48

God shows His love to His children, I suppose. I'm not having a bad week so far. On Monday I passed my application for graduation on October and I received the exciting news that I will get regularized by September. To make my day, I received a short letter from my pen-friend in Facebook after a week. It was a good way to start a week. I couldn't believe how great God is.

Imagine that! My graduation and regularization in the company in one fell swoop. In one day, I am suddenly sure of my future. Life is definitely good. It won't surprise you but those two things are on top of my bucket list for 2011. When I accomplish them, I can definitely move on to my other short-term and long-term goals. I can make news ones in the process. I've got one more quarter left for this year so I've got to make the most of it! (Rumor has it that the world ends next year. Let's not wait for that!) My daily diary is just dying for updates.

My new job sounds exciting. I've got basic knowledge of our tools but there's more to learn everyday. It sounds difficult but that makes it so exciting! I'm always up for a new challenge. There are more night shifts for my new line of work so I can expect a significant increase in my salary but it's not much. Oh well. If I sleep more during the day then I won't spend so much time in the malls. I'm too optimistic for my own good. Anyway, I will love learning new things. I've got three weeks and two days to enjoy before I get endorsed to the production floor so I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.

Aside from work, I've still got school. We'll be doing impromptu speeches next week after the Intramurals. I'm not going to attend the festivities. I love sleeping too much. But it's nice to know that there's still a normal world waiting for me beyond the office.

I'm such a nerd but I'm researching tactics on how to improve goal-setting for yourself. Add that to my usual fashion, style and fitness haunts. The Internet never bores me. I'm refurbishing my goal list to keep up. We have to move with the times.

Stay positive. God will keep sending blessings to all of us.
