What scares you?
I am scared of loneliness, death, snakes and heights. I am terrified of being humiliated by bosses, losing my family/friends and losing face. I'm really scared of getting rejected and being left out. There are also days when I'm scared that I'll find out that I'm not talented at writing and I won't EVER get published. Maybe you can attach the fear of not getting what I want to it... Sometimes I am scared of darkness. There are also days when I get scared of the thought that I'm destined to be an old maid. It's enough to send shivers up my spine. Of course, it means that I'm not meant for a family.
My list is endless. There are many fears that lurk at the edges of my mind even in broad daylight. It's like the hundred-headed dragon. I can slice off a head as I beat it but two will definitely replace it. It actually takes a lot of guts to get up, live and get over them every single day. That's why I am proud that I am conquering my fears with God's will and grace.
I will not be scared because I know that God is at my side. I will be brave, courageous and full of determination to continue the fight to live without regret. After all, it's all in the mind. If I let myself get carried away by my stupid fears then I will lose everything that I've ever worked for. I will not be be scared because I am a conqueror. I will not be scared of the unknown because God will guide me.
