Today was unique.
I met up with Lauren and we patrolled Chollas Lake.
We found a playground we recognized from when we were kids.
We raced up the climb structure.
Then I pulled out an egg salad sandwich and we were surrounded by hungry squirrels in an instant.
One came so close to me, and on the spur-of-the-moment I pulled out my phone and took a picture.
It's very funny, it came out perfectly.
The squirrel looks extremely confused.
We laughed so hard.
Now I'm at home, and I have chores to do but I don't mind.
I'll tackle a few more chapters of Grapes of Wrath tonight.
