(no subject)
Pretty drunk right now. Yay. Life sucks ass right now. Not because of anything in particular. No, I just feel very jaded and angry. No reason. I'm at my mom's house watching Venture Bro's. and Ivy is passed out on the floor. Just finished emailing Matt, now I have his phone number but the ringtone I wanted isn't available on cingular.com. Grrr. Watched Duets again. Such a great movie. I want to do karaoke for a living. Is that ok? I mean, that's not normal, is it? Meh. Tiffany's birthday is on Tuesday and she wants to go karaoke. lol. That would be so much fun! I've decided to go on a Chopsticks diet. I'll only eat with chopsticks from now on and that forces me to eat slower so hopefully I'll eat less. Makes sense, right?
We've decided what we're going to dress up as for the convention next year. (Next year it'll be in DOWNTOWN Seattle! Like, we can go to Gameworks all dressed up and scare the normals!!!) We're all going as characters from my favorite anime, Samurai Deeper Kyo. Danny is gonna be Kyo, I'm going as Yukimura Sanada, Brian is going as Benitora AKA Hidetada Tokugawa, and Jessie is going as my head bodyguard/ninja Saizo. (He has mist powers so Jessie is going to carry around a spray bottle all day. lol) Yukimura is my FAVORITE CHARACTER EVER. Moreso even than my Angel Sanctuary obsession Kira. I almost want to do three different outfits of his for the Con. 1 being his usually worn costume. 2 being at one point he dresses up as a girl to enter a swordfighting contest undetected, and 3 being completely unrelated to the Kyo series, but since Yukimura Sanada is a highly fabled character in Japanese lore, he is featured in Samurai Warriors so I was thinking of that outfit. That'd be funny but we'll see. I still really want to do Haruko's baseball uniform from FLCL, and now I'm thinking of maybe Pan from DBGT. (I'm trying to convince Danny to go as a Dragonball. Just wear orange with a big red star on his chest. lol.) Blah.. nobody cares anyway.
I guess I haven't updated since the con anyway... I regret to say I didn't take ANY pictures. I'm so sorry, I know I promised I would but I had a major wardrobe malfunction and I didn't want anyone to see how mine turned out. My dress looked like it had a massive pregnancy pouch in the middle, it was gross. I had Jessie pin it up as much as possible but it still looked awful. Plus I never ran into my Lupin so the costume reference was kind of lost on people. I only got my picture taken twice so hopefully I'll never ever see how i really looked in that outfit. Yuk. But other than that the con was pretty good. Adam and Alex and Danny all said that I was being a bitch and ruined their whole weekend. Meanwhile I felt like they ruined my whole weekend and Stacy, who was with us the whole time was completely oblivious to anyone acting any different than normal. lol. So who knows. Next year will be better though. It had better be. But I got a cool Samurai Deeper Kyo t-shirt and a wallscroll for $10 and a black-haired Inuyasha figurine that I thought I'd have to buy off Ebay for a buttload. Plus we got to watch a bunch of new anime on the closed circuit television they had piped into all the hotel rooms so that was good. I've got a bunch of new shows I want to watch.
