So I saw Les Miserables today and it was fucking amazing. I love the musical and to add such amazing cinematography, set design, and costuming to it is just FANTASTIC. Seriously, guys, I cannot get over the cinematography.
And I cried at the end. Not even going to lie. I tried to hold it together, but...
... as soon as Fantine comes back I just lost it. And the old ladies at the end of the aisle were wiping tears from their eyes too. Though I'm pretty sure they'd been crying since Gavroche died.
Also, how amazing is it that they used the same actress as the Broadway to play Eponine? Because she is Eponine. Kind of like how most of the rent cast was original Broadway. You can't beat flawless casting the first time around.
