Merlin finale I AM CRY
CRY
CRY IS ME
I started crying the moment the second to last episode did it's preview of the finale. I decided to watch the two parter back to back and I was edgy for the first part, but once I started the second part I was a bawling mess because THIS IS IT
And then six minutes in and STAB
I JUST
I AM IN PAIN
AND MERLIN FINDS HIM
AND I CAN'T

Ok, the morning scene with Arthurs conversation with Gauis made everything better. That's... better. Especially the "Some say he's the greatest sorcerer who ever lived" followed by "Merlin?!"
I'm feeling hopeful... I hope this lasts.... but being a fan of Supernatural has taught me that it never lasts.
But this is goin' pretty good actually.
OH MY GOD THE MERTHURIEST SCENE EVER OMG I AM CRY HAPPY CRY HAPPY
oh ok so the entire episode is going the be Merthery. OK.
OH MY GOD FACE RUBBING
I
OMG
WAIT NO
NONONONONONONO
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
But on a serious note, that ending has left it wide open for a modern day sequel and or loads of modern day fiction. So it was heart breaking, to be sure, but there is a ton of wiggle room for it to not quite be the most depressing ending ever. No no, the most depressing ending ever is and always will be Six Feet Under. See the above gif of the red head breaking down in the car for a glimpse at that emotionally wreckage. The ending to Six Feet Under was also oddly empowering in addition to being depressing as fuck, but anyway, I digress...
In short,
FOR CAMELOT!
LONG LIVE THE KING!
