GAME OF THRONES FEELS

Warning: This post does not contain spoilers for the show, but I do make comparisons to differences in the books.  I've kept it vague so that show watchers can still read this.  :)

"You know nothin', John Snow."

Unless you've read the books, my flailing over this line is probably meaningless.  I promise this post does NOT have book spoilers, but that phrase is said... a lot.  One time I read it three times on one page.  It's Ygritte's catchphrase, basically. The second she said it I just had to hit pause and run to livejournal to start writing my reaction post because OMG YOU KNOW NOTHING JOHN SNOW OMG

Also what is up with Daenerys story?  Again, no book spoilers here, but about 90% of what she's done this season is dramatically different from what I read in Storm of Swords.  I'm not necessarily complaining.  It's really interesting and I have no idea what's going to come next, but I'm not sure I'm 100% on board yet.  As I've said, Daenerys is my Cas of this series.  In book 2 my interest in her sky rocketed from "she's cool" to "I LOVE HER OMG TEAM DANERYS."  So... if they diverge from it too much I'm not sure if my love for her on the show will be the same.  I hope so.  She's my Khaleesi.  ;_;

Also, Harrenhal was my favorite setting and I'm finding the differences between book and show to be interesting.  I'm not quite sure how I feel about Arya and Tywin's relationship.  I definitely think it adds more depth to Harrenhal, though, so I'm not as iffy as I am about Daenerys' story.  Arya is all kinds of awesome this season.  The Starks are fucking BAMF.

daenerys stormborn of house targaryen, i talk a lot, arya stark of winterfell, tv is srs bsns, game of thrones, asoiaf
