For those of you who haven't been keeping up with articles and tweets, well, today has been quite a doozy.
First we had
this (found the article finally
here).
Oh yes. A WIFE.
He's been gone, what, seven months? That's fast under normal circumstances. Not to mention he's amnesiac so it's creepy and disturbing too. And yeah, I should be upset that it's interfering with my OTP, but there's gonna be a shit ton of fic so what the hell. It doesn't matter much in the long run.
So this woman is either
a) Someone who has a cult personality who latched on to this miracle man and married him in just a few months despite the fact that neither of them know who he is.
or
b) Someone intentionally manipulating him. (Leviathans, demons, even Meg have been tossed around as possibilities).
But if that wasn't enough we also get
this article with such quotes as:
"It's a testament to Collins' performance that despite the fact that he's not quite playing "our" Castiel, the connection between the two men -- who essentially shared a foxhole for three-plus years -- is still palpable."
The article also says:
"Oh, and as for that whole Castiel-is-married issue... we'll just say we didn't get the impression that it's a romance for the ages."
OH AND THEN WE HAVE THESE TWEETS
So that wasn't the biggest spoiler that there could be about this episode? Is she implying there's something bigger?
