Mixed Media
The saga of school continues and I realize I've not posted much here about that lately. I'm in Mixed Media and frankly, it's kicking my arse. I can't get away with computer art with this class. It's pastel, watercolor, and acrylic. We've started the 4th week of 5.5 and pastel and watercolor are done. My grade is dropping below a 90% but I'm hopeful I will clear in the upper 80s or low 90s when it's done.
The pastel assignment was to find a verse and develop a concept around it where the verse just isn't illustrated but helps the picture. I used a Robert Frost poem.
Next was watercolor and we had to illustrate a product or service for beach or swimming.
In acrylic, we're creating a poster that promotes an event.
