OMG Poor Tony XD

I'm just going to state that I LOVED the newest episode of Avengers: EMH.  The Steve/Tony moments in this ep. is adorable...from Steve and Tony having breakfast together - to Steve beating Tony up in training - to woobly Steve leaving his fate in Tony's hands - and to Steve trusting Tony to save them.  What a 5 star ep...and I want to see part 2 ( Read more... )

Ooh! Same here! It was like after what- 10 (or 16) episodes of measly dried bread crumbs you suddenly get handed a giant slice of Apple Pie! Yum! ;D (And dude! how puny *was* Tony compared to Steve!?)

Actually this one episode had sooo much set up, I was literally feeling dead from squee at points! I mean, Fantastic 4? The Negative Zone? The 42 Prison?! The TONT&HANK&REED think tank! Oh man! :DDD

Though is it just me, or do you get the feeling of Tony being set up for a giant giant fall, some time soon? (What other reason could there possibly be for Ultron to now be Hank AND Tony’s fault? And the sparring match to have gone the way it did? And the whole futurist thing being set up the way it was?)

Though I'm still holding hope that once the inevitable Armor Wars arrives, Tony goes to Cap and *asks* for sparring lessons and then goes and breaks some Surprise!~ Clavicles~~ :D [And then they have atleast obligatory scene of Steve and Tony being bffs per episode!]

Eh.., no problemo... ^_^

Ooh, yes! I totally forgot that little bit... Hmm, so basically the way they're setting it up is that Tony designed the hardware and Tony and Hank designed the original AI, then Hank modified it, is that right? In that case, the indestructibility would definitely be Tony's fault... <.Though yeah, I'm personally going with the guilt complex thing, myself, right now... [Maybe the guilt caused by Ultron is going to serve as stand-in for Tony's drinking arc and Hank's psychotic breakdown? I *hope* so ( ... )

Excelsior was just a nod towards Stan Lee - essentially it was his catch phrase, so it was nice to see that tidbit in there. However, it would have been aces if it read the Daily Bugle and the photo was by Peter Parker, you know. N E ways...well there was no solid proof Tony designed the hardware, I just make that assumption since well...he's Tony. [shrugs] I think we'll just have to see.

I am betting Ultron will or something similar will be Tony's drinking arc because in the end - it's still a kids cartoon on DISNEY...so yeah, no alcohol aloud. I think they can allude to it, like with Tony holding a glass the way he did when he and Steve were in the living room. But - other then that - I'd be surprised.

Marvel ALWAYS has to have something wrong happen to Tony. It's there signature as much as something WRONG has to happen to Spidey. They like character angst - the end. I know I want an arc where Tony actually quits or leaves the Avengers for a bit...and Steve sulks. 8DDDDD That would make me happy beyond belief <3 But I ( ... )
