In Which I Overcome Dino-Comp!

EDIT:
Instead of dazzling you with a completely new entry, I have decided to edit my recent one.  My charger came in, and wow...am I disappointed [pokes it with pen] it's shorter then the one that came with my comp, reeks of shody craftsmanship and I fully expect it to short within a few weeks.  Good thing I put electronics through it's paces so if it does do such a thing...I can get a refund.  Sadly, I don't think that refund will include the rush delivery I added with my purchase.  And man, I was warned it got hot, but I didn't think anything of it since my own charger got rather warm.  HOLE-E-CRAP I'm actually ventilating the ac adapter.  Well as long as it keeps working....or somehow short circuits my comp within the warranty so I can get a new one, it's fine.  I back up all my files on an external hard drive, so I'm not all that worried if this thing dies...no the charger is not covered in the warranty.

So, I'm still waiting for that laptop charger to come in [taps foot] same dame delivery my arse.  Apparently, after some research, I discovered that with my top of laptop, issues of chargers dying is a common place.  Considering my laptop is about 1 1/2 years old...yeah that really sucks.  Then again, I abuse the heck out of the thing, so...[glances at dead charger] I am this close to operating on it.  I think I know where the problem is, so splicing some new wires probably wouldn't be too difficult.  See, this is where I wish I was Tony Stark cause I could build a spare charger out of a toaster or something.  Why can't I be an engineering genious?  Come to think of it, having my own bad-ass armor would be pretty nice too.  Ah well...

As I continue to type on Dino-comp and desperately look at desktops and ponder if I can afford one, or wishing I knew how linux works so at worse case scenario I could convert my PS3 into a PC...I suppose I can offer somethign useful in the meantime.  Out of all the comics I listed before that I wished to read...I managed to get my hands on "Avengers Childrens Crusade" #2.  I heard the buzz on one of the many comic forums on the interwebz that this issues was either "Fantastic and very exciting" to "horrible and out of character."  So, I took a look and I can tell you right now, I can see where the issue would arise...but seriously it's a good issue.  Young Avengers are still by far my favorite Avengers team.

Basically the main issue that was brought up was the fact that Wolverine seems a bit eager to kill off Billy, and by that behavior...how the heck is he an Avenger.  Based on what I saw and what we know about Wanda and what she did...I can understand Logan's view ...afterall it's Wolverine.  His view on Billy (willing to kill him if he "steps out of line") and the way he eventually implys using..er I'm sorry, "letting" the Young Avengers find Wanda so essentially he can kill her was..chilling.  But, I don't find it surprising.  Wolverine is an anti-hero and the only person he thinks he won't go that far is probably Spidey (thanks to a comic special between the two).

There were a few instances I was confused about the fighting scenes between the Avengers, Magneto and the Yong Avengers.  There is this one panel that has Luke attacking Patriot...Vision 2.0 stopping Ironman I get considering the circumstances....but if you are trying to "save the kids" from being "kidnapped" why the heck would you go punching them for?  Oh well...comic logic rules.  Once again though, I am deeply impressed by the closeness between the Young Avengers.  Billy owns up to his responsibility of involving his teamates and offers them a way out, but the group stays with him.

Patriot is the only one that doesn't seem onboard, but that's mostly because they are workign with Magneto.  However, I wa surprised that Kate (is she still going by Hawkeye? She needs a new alias since Clint has the name again) apparently is the leader.  I thought Patriot/Eli was the leader, and she was like second in command?  Ahh something happened in the minis somewhere I guess.

Other news...I remembered why I love manga.  Read the recent chapter of Fairy Tail and I loved it!  It was a satisfying conclusion to an interesting arc, but I really wish Lucy was given a chance to shine.  The whole reasoning behind why she was able to use magic was a bit of a disappointment, but everything else was great.  I love how at the end Panther Lilly is all cute and the same size as Happy and Charlie.  I wonder if we are going to get back on track on what happened to the Dragons or if we are going on another adventure.

I'm guessing the main team now consists of Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Happy, Charlie, Wendy, Gazille and Lilly.  Ah wait...I remebered that what's her name came back to Earthland with everyone.  So that's probably going to be the next continuation.

fairy tail, manga, young avengers, comics, marvel
