ooo I still got lots to do !!! better get on with it hey.
I've now had two exams... Wednesday was Penology 2 which wasn't too bad. I wrote an essay on the issues regarding women in prison and the fact that they feel invisible because it is such a male dominated instiutional environment. The 2nd essay was on the rise of New Rehabilitationism and the What Works initiative.
Today I had Current Issues and wrote an essay on Autism and the fact that insider accounts are necessary to develop a full scientific understanding of the condition. The 2nd essay today was on the biological basis of homosexuality, which is a subject I am deeply interested in..
I think they're going okay but who knows until I get my results.
I've had an offer for both MSc Forensic Psychology and MSc Psychological Research Methods. The latter would be at Trent and I only need a high 2.2 to get onto it whereas Leicester want a 2.1 for Forensic Psych. At the moment I'm swaying towards Psych Res Methods as I would like to do a PhD eventually.
Only 2 exams left, Social psychology next week and Health psychology... am going to be looking at gender and sexuality, culture, AIDS and HIV, Pain and doctor and patient communication... !! Woo... well at least i know what I gotta look at.
