I watch too much TV. It’s as simple as that. It’s not as though I don’t have better things I could be doing. I’m just…addicted. So, without further adieu, yet another week’s worth of Thoughts on TV Shows I Taped.
Gilmore Girls: I really, really liked this episode. There were Java Junkie undertones without it being too anvilicious (how cute was the Band-Aid scene), which was a nice change of pace from the Nicole and Diggerness of the season. Jason actually doesn’t bother me too much (not in the way that Max did), and I enjoyed the Jason/Lorelai interaction at the fundraiser.
Much to my surprise, the Jess/Rory storyline didn’t make me want to hurl. I’m still not in favor of his character sticking around, but I was truly touched when he told Rory he loved her. It made me remember why I was drawn to them as a potential couple in the first place.
One Tree Hill: This show is quickly spiraling back into the depths of suckitude it achieved when it first premiered. The Nathan/Haley relationship is still a bright spot, but the rest of the show irritated me. Dan is still an ass, and yet I was rooting for Deb to believe him about the BeachWhore, because for once he realized he was doing something wrong and attempted to correct it.
Brooke is still adorable, but the continuous over-the-top perkiness is a bit grating now. When she finally learns of Lucas and Peyton’s betrayal, I hope we’re in for a return of her delightful bitchiness. Particularly since P&L so righteously deserve it.
Speaking of Peyton and Lucas, I. Hate. Them. Blech.
The accident was lame, and the Anvil of Drinking and Driving was poorly executed, to say the least. And does anyone believe for one second that Lucas might actually die? Whatever.
24: The Palmer storyline is still boring. Nina is still evil.
aliasrlm’s Spicy Salami is still gone.
But Kim finding out that the baby is Chase’s? Priceless.
Angel: First of all, I am so not pleased that this show has been cancelled. The 100th episode showed that the series is capable of true greatness…at least when Cordy is around. And now they’re just pulling the plug? Stupid WB.
This episode was kind of meh. The guest star guy who came back to find Angel reminded me of someone, but I can’t put a finger on who.
Next week Angel is a puppet? Hee!
The O.C.: Seth really isn’t endearing himself to me with his treatment of Anna, even if I do want him and Summer to get together. Glad she dumped him.
Not glad that Marissa didn’t get shot. And are she and Ryan back together now? Blech.
Julie kicks ass and designed an awesome office. She deserves better than Caleb. Although, not in the form of her daughter’s ex-boyfriend. Just, ew.
But speaking of Luke, could he be any more fantastic?
Sandy still rocks my world. “Give me the keys. I’m driving.” Whee!
CSI: Dude, DB Sweeney Nick Lea are going to be on next week. There really is a God. And yay for having the whole team on one case!
Is the promotion ever going to be officially announced, so that the storyline may officially die?
