A/N: NY has legalized gay marriage! Yay! This was written for shanaqui on the Let's Get Gay Married Comment Fic Meme. A lot of prompts are for SPN, which I love, and they're wonderful, but I had to write this one. Despite how obscure the fandom is, I have genuinely loved The Dark is Rising Sequence and this particular couple since childhood. ♥

Summary: Owen doesn't mind Will and Bran's relationship nearly as much as Bran thought he would, but he does disapprove of them having premarital sex. Gay marriage isn't even slightly legal in Wales during the eighties, but Owen thinks it's the promise before God that matters, not the legal bit.
( Will's parents and siblings might be wholeheartedly accepting of his new lover, but Owen Davies is a man of God, Bran's only family, the person Bran had given up everything to remain with, and for the young royal's sake, they couldn't afford to pique him. )
