Nostalgia... for LJ and other stuff
I know I've been remiss in keeping this dear little spot updated, and I apologize. I've been preoccupied with other stuff, online and in life. I'll see if I can't get back to writing/iconing/blogging soon.
On a rather unrelated note... I'm in X-men nostalgia mode at the moment. Does anyone remember when Joseph was a big deal? When he actually seemed like a viable threat to the whole Rogue/Remy relationship? I was just taking a moment to look back on those days, and realized something... I like him. And I kinda miss him.
I suspect that part of it is the fact that I'm not as OTP obsessed as I used to be. I'm actually mature(?) enough to enjoy seeing my beloved characters in other pairings and speculating on alternate possible relationships. And looking back, the whole Joseph/Rogue/Remy triangle was kinda fun. For once, the problem wasn't that Rogue couldn't touch people. It wasn't that either she or Remy had gone crazy, or betrayed the xmen or each other, or some other such supernatural occurance... it was simply that there was another nice guy who also liked Rogue and didn't care about the obstacle that was her powers. And she liked him back. That's just kinda... nice when you think about it. Or not. Might be just me.
At any rate, I haven't the foggiest clue where I would begin to look for positive Joseph fanfic. So much for memory lane.
