Again, the doodles are all about potential. I'm actually quite torn by the concept of Damien Wayne. I guess it's because I can't picture Bruce having biological children. Damien--in all his bratty wisdom--demonstrates why: they might attempt to supplant the adopted kids. Now I know that Bruce would try raise his kids--biological or otherwise--better than that, but it doesn't change the fact that Tim was, jealous, and Damient did try to supplant Tim. So I'm not so sure I would have given the green light to introduce Damien into the DC universe. However, since he was already there, I wouldn't have eliminated him within a matter of 3 issues or so. If you gonna bother with bringing him on board, at least develop his character a lil' before killin' him! I think it would have been cool to see Bruce and Alfred trying to raise him proper after years of mommy!Talia messin' with his brain. So...
On a completely different note, I was talking with
adele87 when I thought to post these lyrics that I wrote inspired by the movie "Sunset Beaulevard". I don't know how much it'll help her, but I hope you all enjoy.

How long have you lingered here/
Pining for you glory days?
Perhaps pining isn't what you do/
So visionary are you.
Your eyes were bright/
Stepping out into the sunlight
Thought you'd notice every beauty
Thought adventure would set you free
Instead of viewing perfection/
You saw only reflection/
And every imperfection/
Was a glaring reality
CHORUS:
And when the outside world is an alien kind of crazy/
Come home to the broken palaces that once made you so dizzy/
Come to this lonely place to reminisce
Return to Sunset Beaulevard.
You were bright in your mind's eye
But that cold hard world sees a shriveled shell
You shouldn't be made to see as they do
Such sight can only hurt you/
A dagger to run you through/
Perhaps it's just as well...
CHORUS
Return to your cave/
Retreat to your den/
Hide from the eyes/
That don't see you as you were then.
Return to your cave/
Retreat to your den/
Dream a better dream/
So visionary are you.
