Drabblemania!

Feb 20, 2006 20:19

Tickle me inspired! I did quite a bit of writing today. I started some of these long ago, but I've now finished and organized bunches of drabbles for you all! Please tell me what you think! (Note that I'm particularly proud of "Into the Arms.")
The One Who Cries (220 words // Obi-wan, Anakin // 10min Challenge) )

eu, fic, jacen, obi-wan, drabbles, tenel ka, fanfic, tahiri, chars: allana, sw, ben, a/p

You have too much free time. ;-)

Are you majoring in English or Film?

I'm actually taking a year off before going to college, and won't have anything finallized until every last grade of my senior year is known.

I knew that.

But I mean, how were your most recent grades?

Less than perfect. 2 B's. That means, of course, that I have to work Xtra hard to get ALL A's this semester. :(

You can still get into college with an accumlative GPA of 3.5. If it were me, I'd just go to KU after high school. It's a good school. Not great, but it's good. Babe I had a high school GPA of 3.0 and I got into a lot of great schools. You've got other talents besides being smart.

I just think that your dad is limiting your chances of you being able to go to a good college, but then again, maybe I'm nuts. I don't really know your situation, but I do know I'd be very happy if my worst grades were B's.

I got a 2.6 my first semester in college (I actually didn't fail Fundies). While that's not that great because I need a 3.0 for graduate school, I have plenty of time to improve. Some people I know finished up the semester with a .75 GPA and flunked out! So I figure, there are plenty of people that would kill to be where I am.

It's not getting into college that's a problem, it's getting said college to pay me for going there. Once I actually get into collge, I couldn't care less what my grades are, so long as I don't flunk out.

Well if you want to go to graduate school, you want a 3.0 at least.

KU and K-State have already offered full rides, your dad said.

I'm aiming for that 90% off tuition at Florida State that comes if I manage to keep my National Hispanic Scholarship.

Yeah, I went to Kansas State because of the good teachers here for my major. LOL
