It's so stupid sometimes.
When he's injured from a battle, fear rises in her throat and it's all she can do to just concentrate on finding where the blood is pooling from and working the jutsu to make it stop.
But when it's something like this... fractured clavicle and rough scrapes from a training exercise... that he was teaching no less... she really just wants to hurt him more.
But when he says his thanks and looks at her with that wide smile and those blue eyes that are just so happy, she finds herself resisting temptation for the most part. She just squeezes a little in a place that's bound to smart.
Just to make him think twice.
Not that he'll ever listen.
Not that she doesn't love him for it.
