Summary: Rosalie's idea of beauty may not be as conventional as some assume.
Rosalie always knew she was geared to age graciously. She remembered growing up and seeing her mother as the most beautiful woman she knew. Despite this, there was always a close second, her grandmother. Distinguished lines in her face, small wisps of grey in her hair, and light laugh-lines about her eyes only seemed make her age believable rather than detract from her loveliness. Rosalie could even see her mother heading down the same path before... well, before Royce.
When Rosalie looked in a mirror, she generally liked what she saw. Except when she thought about the fact that it never changed. One wrinkle, one little callus... would actually look good, she thought. If only...
