Update

Ok, so where to start? Friday. John took Crowley to the vets and although she was pleased that the swelling had started to go down, she didn't want to operate, so it's tomorrow (Tues). She's a bit worried as the lump goes into his lip so she doesn't even know if she can remove all of it. Poor bow wow. Worked all day, doing 2 full heads of extensions as well as doing a small site update too.

John's mum got moved back into the surgical ward on Saturday, which we are all really pleased about. We took Caleb in to see her (as children are allowed in there) and you could see it really cheered her up. They removed 46 clips from her leg (used instead of slitches) and that is only half of them. The poor thing is still in a lot of pain and now has very low blood pressure, her pacemaker is playing up and she still can't breathe very well. The pacemaker was not put in at this hospital, it was done at Barts and they don't have any technicians there until Tues (as does this hosp) and they don't even know if they are going to transfer her yet. It's fucking rediculous - it just gets worse and wosre. Yesterday John's sisters fiance decided to finally call here, and I told him exactly what I thought. That they were selfish for not phoning (esp after what happened to their Dad last year) etc. The excuse? It was $12 a minute to phone. What the fuck is £20 to see if your own mother is still alive???? Anyway he said that I was right and phoned the hospital straight away (John was there when he did). Apparantly John's sister was ill for the 2nd week of the holiday (serves her right) and that's why they didn't come to see her on the way home, they went back to theirs to see their Dr. You know, I'm so sick of it all that I don't care about them anymore, only my neice and nephew (who had a nice time by all accounts).

Yesterday I did my friend Tracy's hair. Being one of my oldest friends (about 12 years) and my flatmate for the best part of 5 years, we always have a lot to talk and laugh about :) I did her roots (blonde streaks) and re-steamed all her dreads before putting them all back in with a few new ones. It is dark brown, 2 blondes, magenta and lilac pink. It made my mind up about my hair too! I am definitely going to try stripping out this pink from the front of my hair (I've not dyed it for a month so it's pretty vile!) getting it as non-yellow blonde as poss and then doing black, blonde and magenta dreads. I want nice hair for my birthday so I'm hong to sort the colour out this week and get the dreads done next. IT was such a gorgeous day yesterday too, so sunny and warm. Made me smile.

Today being a bank holiday I have no nursery for Caleb so we are off to my mum's for lunch, and we'll pop into the hospital on the way home later. At least it's not raining....
