It was but a few minutes after Cooro had left the apartments, a little late because he had waited for delivery girl to show up so that they could walk to work together. However, in the end, she had not come, and Cooro had become impatient. Deciding to walk around a little in the area nearby the Apartments, he paused when he spotted a familiar back...
"Senri?!" He cried, running up to the tall and quiet teen. Hearing his name, Senri slowly turned around with his usual blank look on his face, looking decidedly unsurprised at meeting the crow boy in the middle of a more or less empty town. “You came too!” Cooro said excitedly, jumping up and down in place. “I was hoping one of you guys’d come! They don’t have +Anima here, so I was the only one for a long time!” He couldn’t help but grin. The grin slowly faded as the teen said nothing, and instead simply stared. “Oh, that’s right, you don’t remember anything! Sorry, I forgot!” Cooro said, a smile lighting up his face again. It was true that he didn’t remember much himself, but Senri was a friend, and that was what was important.
It was then that Senri began to act strange. Or maybe it was normal - Cooro lacked enough memories to confirm its oddness. The youth reached up hesitantly to his eyepatch, shuddering as though in pain. Realizing that something was wrong, Cooro cocked his head and asked, “Hey, Senri... Are you ok?” But of course the teen did not answer. A vicious wind whipped up, and Cooro was forced to put an arm up over his eyes to protect them. “What’s going on?” He shouted, but his words were swept away by the sound of the wind the instant they came out of his mouth. Something soft and flat hit him on the head, but it had fluttered away before he could catch it, or even see what it was. As suddenly as it had come up, the wind died down, leaving the two +Anima standing near each other just as they had been not a few minutes ago. “That was weird...” Cooro muttered, before looking back to Senri. “Don’t you think so, Senri? ...Senri?”
A change had come over the bear +Anima. His right arm had become the arm of a bear, and his left hand was clutched to his left eye - the eye that, until recently, had been covered by an eye patch. With a growl, Senri’s entire body changed; both arms were furred and clawed, and his teeth were fanged. He had become more than part bear - he was closer to a half-bear by this point.
Staggering backwards, Cooro had a fleeting memory of something similar happening sometime before, but he did not have time to ponder on it. The more bear-like Senri was taking steps towards him, and he knew that this Senri was much more dangerous than the one he had remembered.
Turning away from Senri, Cooro grew wings and took flight, flying away from the enraged bear that was now charging after him. What do I do?! He thought frantically. I can’t just leave him! But what can I do?!
((OOC: Once he stops to think about it, Cooro will remember the incident on Moss Mountain concerning Senri. 3% regained.))
