And yeah, I get that odd day thing. When Mam owned the Hotel in Chapeltown and we had the riots there in the 80's, it was terrifying and ... Well, odd. Kinda like a near death experience or something.
From sheer and unadulterated luck, when they decentralised my department into units, spread out throughout the City, the building they rent was less than 4 minutes walk from my house. But I do empathise, I used to have about an hour commute every morning before that.
