I'm actually looking forward to seeing this guy as The Doctor. His bio looks to be interesting. Am downloading the DW Confidential to see if we get any live footage of him.
He's rather girly looking (or maybe that's just the haircut in the Beebs promo shots). I think the pressure on him will be as great as on Christopher E when he first took on being Doctor Who. I also think DT has been such a success that he'll be a hard act to follow and I don't think many fans will cut him any slack. I am going to reserve judgement till I see his first season (or try to at least).
I'll give him a go, but the choice was rather ..... surprising.
Then again lots of people trashed David Tennant after the regeneration from the 9th Dr. And he turned out to be pretty popular. It must be a very daunting role to step into
