turns out Maybel didn't have a heart disease, or pneumonia. They took x-rays and found out that SOMEHOW, she got gotten 14 broken ribs, and whatever broke the ribs also punctured a hole in the diaphragm AND pushed her stomach and liver up into the lung cavity.
they said that it wouldn't ever fix itself, and that the surgery she needed would be anywhere from 4,000-5,000$, AND that even the healthy animals that go into the surgery only have a 50/50 chance of living, so her chances...:S
so yeah. we ended up having to put her down.
