[ before I forget... ]
I'm under orders to make a record of all my "strange" dreams, and this def. falls into the category. I also sense a drabble coming from this, lol.
copied and pasted from msn convos, cause I'm lazy like that. hey, at least I cut it -_-;;
this dream...keep in mind, I'm not a religious person really. I believe in higher beings, but I don't really..I dunno how to explain it.
not agnostic, but not holyholy either, lol
anyway
several people came forth claiming to be Jesus...
and the way they proved themselves to everyone else was that they could walk on water, and turn water into wine, etc etc....
but each time, when they claimed to be Jesus, and they were standing on the water...
I would tell them "if you are the lord, teach me how."
and they would claim that it's not possible.
then one came. and he didn't claim to be Jesus, but in the middle of one of the other people trying to...
he walked off of the shore and into the waves.
and he walked on the water.
so I told him basically the same thing. "if you're the lord, teach me."
and he just smiled and reached out his hand for me.
and he said "take my hand, and I will teach you how to stand. I will teach you where to step. and when you doubt, I will save you from the waves."
in the dream, I took his hand. and he didn't TELL me where to stand...he SHOWED me...
but it wasn't physical...
it was like he was inside my head, guiding my steps
and afterwards...I fell to my knees, still on the water, mind you, and I bowed my head...
and I thanked him for showing me how to walk...
and he put his hands on my shoulders and bent down..
actually, I left out a part..
when I thanked him, I called him "my Lord"
and then...
after he bent down, he said "thank YOU for asking me. thank YOU for letting me teach you. Thank YOU for having faith....sister."
and then kissed the top of my head and helped me stand again...
but when he said 'sister'...
it was like he meant it in as the whole 'we are all God's children' meaning....
