I am goddamn sick and tired of wives who don't understand the importance of OPSEC. Just because you are privied to semi-classified information, such as deployment dates, DOES NOT give you the right..the authority...to broadcast it to the whole world!
We're talking about national security here! Do you not understand that Mary Jane Rottencrotch at the nail salon could be working for "them"? Or some person on the internet that you THINK you know could have Bin Laden's cell phone number on speed dial? Jesus Christ.
I have seen a wife lose her command sponsorship and her husband lose rank and pay over her opening her stupid ass mouth.
There should be a test for women who want to marry into the military. If you don't pass, good bye. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
It makes me sick to my stomach to think that my husband or another man in his unit's life could be at risk because some idiot opened her, or even his, mouth! Hell, put any person in the military's life at risk! It disgusts me.
I am posting this because of one particular person. I'm not sorry if I have offended you with something I have posted above. If you don't like what I have to say about this issue, fuck off. Since becoming an FRG leader, I have learned (even more now after what I learned in marrying Marc) the importance of OPSEC and other regulations for the disbursement of information.
