Does it matter? :p It's not like its a permanent thing in those circles. You're really not a part of the gang if you keep having a pulse all the time(the human variant, anyways).
Very good review" Touches on a couple of points I hadn't though about, and I very much agree on everything you said. Lynch deserves massive kudos on his writing.
Does it matter? :p I think the how matters... I mean - is the Hell-A real or some sort of Matrix-like construct? (Which would be... neat.)

Lynch deserves massive kudos on his writing. Absolutely! It's all beautifully done.
you made me look at Angel and Gunn's situation differently. Really? Oh I'm very pleased! Not having read any other reviews, I was worried I was just repeating what everyone else had said. (And I still think other people's reviews are better than mine.)
After reading your review I reread this scene and now I also think that W&H manipulated Wesley and through him - Angel and Gunn. I can't see it being true - and considering how the whole issue has been repeating 'W&H are *playing a game* and *deceiving you all*, then it would seem obvious. (I can't see Angel's journey finishing with him being evil - that would make NO SENSE.
*sigh* Oh, yes. On the other hand, I'm waiting impatiently for the next issue of S:AtF. Soooooo pretty!
I think it's a hint. Right next to the street sign, there's a billboard with a picture of a nun at prayer. The caption on the billboard reads, "Coming soon!" I think it's a hint that both Doyle and Drusilla (the nun) are going to show up in this comic. Which - the thought of Dru makes me squee with joy.

Well he's pretty much the only Joss hero *not* to come back from the dead, so that had to be dealt with, amirite?

Anyway, then there’s the Shanshu shown to Angel... and all I can hear is ‘Wesley is the reason we’ll win.’

The artwork frustrates me greatly
