I love my friends!
I know, a public entry! Shocker. :P
But this one deserves to be public. Because I love my friends!
I've come to the realization that I truly don't recognize y'all enough. And I'm not going to go through you name by name on this entry, because you know who you are. The only purpose of this entry was for me to say "thank you."
Maybe it's because the last few weeks, I've really made an effort to treat myself and focus less on the "to do" list and more on the things that matter - spending time with friends being one of them. I've done nothing over the top, just going out to dinner, or for drinks, seeing a movie, volunteering, hanging at the theme parks... but I've learned that (a) I don't spend enough time with y'all and (b) life's too short not to.
I thank my lucky stars every day to have friends in my life who make me a better person. Who love me no matter what. Who will listen or lend advice. Who make me laugh and smile. Who help me de-stress and focus. Who motivate & inspire me in all aspects of my life. Who don't judge. Who appreciate. Who care. You all are wonderful and I love each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.
Short, sweet, and to the point, I know. But when you have these moments of revelation, I am a firm believer you have to embrace it. You never know what moment is going to be your last. And I cannot reiterate enough that I am so grateful and cherish each and every one of my friendships. I may not have tons (quantity isn't everything, quality is) but the ones I do have amaze me each and every day. I pinch myself all the time and think about how good I have it because I'm surrounded by some really outstanding peeps. So no matter how close or how far away we are. No matter how often or how little I see you, please don't underestimate how much I care about each and every one of you!
