i must say my favourite concert must be the one of mark olson and creekdippers. really strange, cause they aren't one of my fav bands. it's just the way they made me feel on the concert and the way they played everything perfect was just - well, perfect.
but last night i saw a concert that comes really close to olson.
i do adore when a band can guess what the audience wants to hear and they play your fav songs. and that's just what magnolia electric co. did last night.
perfect way to end the concert season in kset. i was just hoping to hear one of my fav songs, perhaps only "just be simple" but to hear "farewell transmition", and "dark don't hide it" and "leave the city" and "hold on magnolia" and "just be simple" (and i'm not joking when i say that their performance of this song almost made the whole club cry).
and so finishes another concert season in kset. there were some amazing gigs this season - notwist, mward, william elliot whitmore, lali puna, karate, magnolia electric co, yumi yumi, terry lee hale, mambo kurt, the thermals and so many more.
and i'm already excited about seeing arcade fire in the fall :)
