This week it seems I'm getting a taste of what it's like to be a single mom. My parents are off in Hawaii for the week, (my dad has some conference and he took my mom along) Ben and Anna are at the grandparents' and lydia is staying with me, with Jess helping out with her during the day while I'm at work. Jacob & Drew are old enough to fend for themselves, but I'm still pulling the, "wait, do mom & dad know you're going out with a girl?!?!" and worrying like I do.
It's been an interesting day so far .. but after 2 1/2 hours of screaming and crying, she's finally asleep. Ahhhh...
