My 9 Words
Simone and Amy both gave my cupcakes... guess I know what everyone associates me with :)
Baking, especially cupcakes!: I think pretty much everyone knows at this point that I love baking/want to open a bakery at some point in my life. I know the cupcakes I've been turning out lately haven't been the best (especially those vomit-cakes from the christmas party) but I'm going to figure it out at some point. Anyway, I love baking because I find it really relaxing. I feel like whenever I'm doing anything else I'm multitasking but when I bake I'm usually just focused on that. Plus when it works out it feels great! And why cupcakes in particular? I think they're cute! And I like how they're little individual cakes. I hate cutting cake.
Fantasy novels: Or as Suzy calls them: my dragon books. Um, I don't know how much there is to say about these? Haha, they're just the books that we've always had in the house so it's what I grew up reading. It's just recently that I actually started reading other types of books (and by recently I mean last year because I pretty much haven't picked up a book since college started) but I think that fantasy ones will always be my fav. Escapism I guess.
Lacrosse: Okay, I basically tried out freshman year because Becky wanted someone to try out with her. I had never played before and was terrified of trying out since I had no clue what I was doing. And I'm SO glad I did. I mean, let's be honest, without it colleges probably wouldn't have liked my list of extracurriculars much. I really do like it a lot though. It's just fun even though I/our team pretty much always sucked. I wish that I had learned about it earlier so that I might have actually been good in high school. I really do want to try going to the Lax Lite games this semester instead of making excuses of why I can't go.
Supernatural: Ahh, one of my many TV loves. Well let's start off with the fact that these boys are pretty gorgeous. And their love for each other is so true! That pretty much is why I love it. But overall, it's just a fun, slightly cheesy cute show. And I'm always waiting for the episode where they finally declare their love for each other. Can't be denied!
Huge Boobs (well, it's true): Hmmm. Where to start with this. Sometimes I think about how much my boobs have influenced my fashion. Also, I am so confused about saggy boobs. I don't want themmm. Pretty much everything I read is contradictory. First I was reading about how wearing a bra can make them saggy because they don't learn how to hold themselves up? Then Simone and I were looking up boob lifts and it said many people get boob lifts to fix sagging caused by not wearing a bra. So who knows. I like them though; I'm glad they're big! Even if they are obnoxious sometimes.
Hearing Aid Button: I'm not going to lie, I hate it when people push it. It's annoying and you can't even hear the sound anyway! I'm glad my new ones are deep in my ears so nobody can touch them.
Math: I am a nerddddd. I love math! Though strangely I'm liking computer science more now?! I think actually I'm just frustrated with my class since I have trouble doing the homeworks/I didn't do that well on the first test. But anyway, I just like the satisfaction that comes with solving a math problem. Or how I feel so accomplished when I just suddenly GET some concept. I feel like I don't get the same sense of figuring something out when you learn some fact in history or some other subject. Maybe that's just me? But yeah, I actually get really proud when I'm working on a problem for like 45 minutes and then finally solve it. And it's so final. You're either right or you're not. It's so systematic and there are rules to follow. If you know all the rules, you get it right, simple as that. There's no way to misinterpret or not explain yourself well enough or some other dumb way to be wrong. Plus, math explains SO much. Even if everyone says "But I'm never going to need to know this," I still think it's fascinating. I'll admit, most people don't need to know calculus, but I still think that it's really cool to know. And I mean, I'm good at it. Everyone likes doing stuff that they understand easily/are good at.
Sorry, that one was pretty long. It is what I plan on doing with my life :)
Skin: Listen, I have NO problem with my pale ass skin. I think it looks nice. I like my freckles too. The only thing I don't like is how it burns so much/easily. Sunscreen is also gross. Luckily I deal with that by only going outside when absolutely necessary.
PRM: Am not! Sadly, for PRM, I am way too quick to walk around UVA alone at night...
