it makes me so sad to hear the my friends are having rough times in their lives. but at the same time i think that we are all having rough times right now. brandon and i are officially not on break anymore. but we are supposed to calm down with the whole marriage talk. he tells me that he doesn't want a time limit on when we might get married.

I think it depends on how much you want to spend the rest of your life with him because if you want to be with him forever then a ring on ur finger is a huge plus and i can understand the importance of it, but i think as long as he's not shutting the idea of marriage out completely then you should be okay. If he justs wants to get married later and the plan is that you two will still get married, then maybe you could wait since you want to be with him forever. You know? Forever can start without a ring and "i do's". However, I understand how you feel about getting married because I know I want to get married and I couldn't just spend the rest of my life being someone's girlfriend. At some point you just want to declare your love in the most official way possible. I think I'd give it five years after my "deadline" and if he still wasn't ready to get married then I'd have to reconsider our relationship at that point. That doesn't necessarily mean I'd end it, but it'd be a time for reflection. Does that make sense? I hope I helped you out a little bit.
