Trying to stay awake.
Ok so I'm not going carrolling... obviously (I was supposed to go today... or well yesterday). But it's ok there's always next year. Things are still going great. Looking forward to Christmas. Not really looking forward to being another year older. Eww. I feel like I'll never be able to do everything I want to do before I die! Each year just goes faster than the one before it. Before I know it I'll have horrible authritis and no teeth and I'll be taking a handful of pills three times a day. Hmm maybe when I get to that point they'll have a cure for old age hehe. Yeah right. When they have a cure for old age it will surely be the end of the world.
So the other day an interesting point was brought up. What exactly makes a swear a swear?! Did you ever notice that a word can be so offensive to some people but to others when used in the right context it's just a word. And who the hell made the middle finger such a powerful symobol. It's only so here. Did you know that in Australia giving the thumbs up sign = a punch in the face because it means the same thing as a middle finger does here. And to some people hell is offensive, to others it's the same as saying heck. Anyway. It's all relative and they're just words.
