[ When the feed switches on it shows a lovely view of the beach, just before sunrise. If you're quick to tune in you may just catch the rear end of a large crocodile disappearing beneath the waves.
After that it's another quiet look at the beach, only interrupted by Doctor Bhamba's face coming into view as he turns the camera around to face himself. ]
[ He steps away from the screen, revealing what looks like two round rubber mats, lying about six feet away from each other. On the right mat a rat is sitting lazily. Bhamba's voice is coming from behind the camera now. ]
Commencing transmission in three...
[ The mats suddenly start glowing in a faint, blue light. ]
Two...
[ There's a sound like a muffled whirr and faint static interrupts the transmission. ]
One...
[ The blue light glows brighter and the rat squeals, trying to make a run for it. ]
Zero!
[ For a moment the blue light flares up and the transmission cuts out. After a few seconds of static the image is back, showing the rat standing on the mat, looking around confused. It sways, flickers, squeaks and-- explodes. ]
Damn it!
[ A sigh can be heard off-screen and after a moment Bhamba steps into view again. ]
