flexing souls

grounded 
sitting always
doused in gasoline
self immolating on the scene
in the name of suffering in seclusion 
bringing the body up to the surface with a canon 
of poetry creating the day when heaven exists and we can breathe
without heaving for clean oxygen, without heaping mud on an over exposed, resting sound.
