Today, I took the cable car to work.
It was really nice and unplanned. I was on my bus and an idiot car decided to squeeze by the bus and ended up hitting its rear fender. We all thought the bus braked really hard. I look to the front and there are NO cars. I was like wtf? So to make a long story short. The bus had to sit there and wait for his supervisor to come and file the report. So he let us out. We could have waited on the bus, but it would have been about 30 minutes before the supe came. So out I went, on Bush and Larkin. Decided to walk up to California and see if I could catch the 1, but I wasn't sure if it still ran down Cali at that point. When I made it up the hill, I see the cable car stop and a cable car a block down. It was a really nice ride. Made me love the city I'm living in. Saw the Bay Bridge, Coit tower and Nob Hill. Brought me back memories of the first time I rode a cable car with my mom and brother on Labor day maybe about 20 years ago *sniff*. It definitely was a great way to spend my morning commute.

Someone finally answered my food prayers, much to
rockhusky's dismay, it had to be answered today. Did I ever tell you I love cupcakes? I've been obsessed with cupcakes for the past few months. I don't know why or how it started, but ever since it did,I still haven't eaten one yet! So maybe my prayers have been half answered.
