Pretty blonde (to brunette friend): The problem with blonde jokes, is that sometimes I don’t get them.
yes my daily dose of overheard at mcgill, aka O@M. They have funnier ones, I'm just drawn oddly to the lame ones.
Conversation that I thought was funny but didn't appeal to my sisters as much.
Lili: Mixed kids are alway really pretty and smart. That's like the only reason I'm dating a white guy.
friend: That is true, mixed kids are really good looking.
Lili: you know what would be cooler though? if i lived in england and had a british husband...
friend: then they would have british accents AND be half-chinese.
Lili: (laughs)

I find that I laugh too much/a lot, it's my way of filling in the gaps in conversations and lessening the awkwardness of people not laughing at my jokes. need to work on this sense of humour of mine and also the awkward facial expressions. the other day, my mom commented on my squinty facial expressions whenever i'm frustrated or angry, which appears to be often. Julie said that they're distracting when she talks to me. I had always thought that my eyebrow raising was kinda cute. =( at least i have a happy laugh. (though someone did refer to it as a cackle once..)
